Day 1.- Arrival at Tirana
Arrival at Tirana airport. Hotel moving and lodging.


Day 2.- Tirana - Korca (Elbasan - Pogradec)
Breakfast and departure to Elbasan, time to visit its citadel of Ottoman influence. Continue to Pogradec, a city on the shores of Lake Ohrid, the deepest lake in the Balkans and one of the oldest on our planet. Continuation to Korca, important cultural center of the south-east of the country surrounded by high mountains. Visit the city with its old Ottoman bazaar, Orthodox cathedral and historic center of stately homes from the early twentieth century. Accommodation.

Day 3.- Korca - Kalambaka (Kastoria - monasteries of Meteora)

Breakfast and departure to the border with Greece. The first Greek city in which we are going to stop is the city of Kastoria, recognized for its leather trade. Continue to Meteora, to visit 2 of the Meteora Monasteries classified as World Heritage by UNESCO (comfortable shoes are recommended). They are up to a height of 600 meters and are inhabited since the fourteenth century. Accommodation in Kalambaca, small town at the foot of Meteora.


Day 4.- Kalambaka - Ioaninna (Metsovo - Ioaninna with its lake)
Breakfast. We travel between mountains towards Metsovo, a beautiful Greek village known for its smoked cheese. We continue to Ioaninna, cultural and historical capital of the Epirus region built on the shore of Lake Pamvotida. Visit of the Aslan Pasha Mosque and the Byzantine Museum, both located within the walled old town, still inhabited today. Boat trip on Lake Pamvotida and visit of the island where the tyrant and cruel Ali Pasha died in the XIX century that gave a cultural impulse to the city. Accommodation.


Day 5.- Kalambaka - Saranda (Butrinto - Gjirokastra)
Breakfast. Return to alban lands. Arrival and visit of Gjirokastra, a city declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with its imposing citadel and its characteristic houses from the Turkish period. We drive to Butrinto. Stop en route at the famous Blue Eye spring, a place of breathtaking beauty. Arrival in Butrinto, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit of the ancient Greco-Roman city inhabited until the end of the Middle Ages.
Accommodation in Saranda, a coastal city located opposite the Greek island of Corfu.


Day 6.- Saranda - Berat (Vlora - Ardenica monastery)
Breakfast. Departure to Berat, passing through Vlora and following the coastal road with stunning views. Stop at the Ardenica Monastery, built in the 13th century on the ruins of an ancient pagan temple dedicated to the Greek goddess of the hunting Artemis.Arrival at the end of the afternoon to Berat, known as "the city of a thousand windows" and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Accommodation.


Day 7.- Berat - Tirana (Kruja - Tirana)
Breakfast. Visit of the immense citadel of Berat, still inhabited today, with the Onufri museum, with its 16th century icons. Continuation towards Kruja, one of the most pleasant cities of Albania, with its typical Ottoman bazaar and cobbled alleys that take us into the citadel together with the Museum of Our National Hero Gorge Kastriota Skanderbeg. Continue to Tirana. Panoramic tour of the capital of Albania with its mosque center of Et'hem Beu of the 18th century, the Blloku bourgeois district where the communist elite lived for more than 40 years. Accommodation.


Day 8.- Departure
Breakfast (depending on the departure time) and at the agreed time, transfer to the airport to depart on the return flight. Arrival and end of the trip.
